EUROPEAN GAIN

Program

The focus of this year’s EUD GAiN is on taking next steps towards building and strengthening the EUD Media Network. Together we will work on the development of a EUD Media Strategy Framework with regard to Media Evangelism for the coming years.

Therefore, we will engage during two of the three days as a whole group in a strategy development process consisting of the following aspects:

  1. Discussion,
  2. Listening,
  3. Recording
  4. Reporting. 

In mixed groups of seven to ten participants we will discuss relevant media evangelism themes and areas.

After discussing each set of questions, every discussion group will report its results to the whole group. A preselected writing group will take notes of all results.

During the two days the writing group will put all recorded results into a first draft of a EUD Media Strategy Framework. This first draft of a EUD Media Strategy Framework will be given to the EUD Executive Committee. Further, it will serve as the foundation for the planned EUD Media Strategy Session with the EUD Executive Committee plus invited media responsible people in the EUD Executive Committee in May 2016.

Following this procedure at EUD GAiN

  1. gives room to every participant to equally contribute and allows all voices to be heard,
  2. we listen to one another,
  3. the results will be kept and
  4. they will have an impact on the development of the media strategy and the use of media in the EUD.

 Finally, this process shall help us to be more successful in sharing the love of God.
